These are new images added to an older collection of photographs that I began shooting in early 1980 while traveling with friends. It began as a “see what happens” approach to shooting passing cars, people, houses, trees -- a variety of scenes as we drove through the country side. The earliest images were black and white shots. When I began to study my contact sheets I was intrigued by what I’d captured. I liked the way the motion distorted the content and made the ordinary seem much more unexpected and interesting.
